NSS’s group of member all comprise of volunteers. There are no full or part time employees.
We are very fortunate to have the following and valid members on board, who all not only have a genuine passion for providing social services, but also have a long track record of having continuously dedicated their time and energy to such social causes with a number of different charities in and around the Greater Dandenong regions.
General Manager
Ms. Kishani Wijekoon, who possesses a Bachelors in Business Administration from Monash University, and operates as an IT Analyst with Kmart. She was also part of Joey’s Van as a volunteer, and which also gave her the inspiration to launch NSS as a gap was identified for additional services needed.
Coordinator
Mr. Stefano Sarkies, who currently just completed his Masters in Business Administration at RMIT University and is currently commencing a Masters in Commerce. And was also part of Joeys Van as a Coordinator.
Stefano oversees the day-to-day operations of NSS and works closely with our partners in bringing more awareness to the greater communities for the needs of those in the lesser socio economic demographics.
Kitchen Supervisor
Mrs. Angela Sarkies, who is a certified “Commercial Cooker” and possesses a Certificate 111 in Hospitality, heads NSS’s cooking team. Angela has numerous years of experience in working with social causes and is a valid member whose vast experience is much depended upon.
Food Handling Supervisor
Mr. George Sarkies possesses a “Food Handling” certification, attained via Chisholm Institute. George also possesses a First Aid certificate Level………And has long standing and vast experience in social service events. He is also associated with The Salvation Army, The Dandenong Council and The Rangers Club. Mr. Sarkies has a long history of dedicating his time and energy in undertaking and providing benevolent acts.
Head Chef
Mrs. June D’cruz is NSS’s Head Chef and also has a very long standing in providing her time and energy to many social causes in the capacity as a volunteer with The Dandeonong Council…………………….
Elder & Counselor
Mr. Lionel D’cruz is NSS’s social councilor, and provides much needed counseling to those who need to talk to someone and help with some general advice. Mr. D’crus also has been a volunteer with The Dandeong Council and is an Elder at his Church in………….
Stores Supervisor
Errol Sarkies is currently in the final phase of completing a course in ………. He also possess a certificate in First Aid Level……..
Errol is in charge of the stores and oversees the allocation of food items for each programme.
